Cham Island: Diving, Snorkeling and Camping

Cham Island is a small tropical island just off the coast of Hoi An. This little piece of paradise offers a secluded beach – something like you would expect in the Maldives or the Carribean.  On the far side of the Island is a small fishing port and local village which presents the chance to explore the friendly local surroundings.

Diving and Snorkeling

If you associate adventure with blue ocean waters, diving, tropical sandy beaches and tranquil coconut palm setting, the Cham Island Dive tour is for you. Their one day or overnight dive tour to Cham Island is an amazing trip and a chance to get away from the city while you enjoy the scenic natural surroundings.  The Island’s beautiful coral reefs are sure to take your breath away.

Cham Island is part of a Marine Protected Area (MPA) just 18km off the coast of Hoi An, and actually made up of eight different islands. These islands are rich with 165 hectares and 135 species of coral that are home to a multitude of fish and mollusks.

Sundowners and camping

To really take full advantage of this tour, an overnight stay is the way to go. Camp out on the beach in your own little tent. Enjoy another great meal with beer and cocktails available. The wood is already chopped to enjoy the ultimate camp bonfire before you call it a night. Waiting for you next morning is a stunning sunrise, smooth ocean waters and an early morning tropical swim followed by breakfast. If you have the time, this overnight trip is truly a must.

Make It Happen

The one day tour is just over an hour-long boat ride from Hoi An Quay out to the coral reefs, which are just a few hundred meters from the famous Cham Island beach.
